PRIDE offers multiple educational opportunities throughout the year. Our Academies are small group, very personalized fundraising trainings, hosting clients in small collaborative groups where we deep dive into specifics of a single topic within our list of services.

 

Academies in a Nutshell

In-Person Workshops, 4-6x/year

We select destination locations all over the country for these 3-day sessions to create an opportunity for a deep dive on a specific topic. Locations range from Destin, FL to Boulder, CO and many locations in between

For Clients Exlusively

These workshops are available only for PRIDE clients with limited registration to up to 10 clients, first come first serve

Earn CFRE educational credit

Each workshop is worth 9 to 11 hours of continuing education credit and is approved by CFRE International in advance of the session

The Donor Lifecycle - Donor Stewardship and Strengthening Relationships

June 1-4, 2026
Salt Lake City, UT

Session Objective

Understanding the donor lifecycle is essential to building long-term, meaningful relationships that lead to sustained philanthropic support. This session will explore how strategic stewardship at each stage—from first gift to legacy giving—fosters deeper donor engagement, strengthens loyalty, and increases overall giving capacity.

Target Audience

Chief Development Officers, Key Philanthropy Staff, Key Volunteers

Terms

  • Registration is limited to 10 registrants, maximum of two per client

  • This session is offered as two days of service as outlined in your client Agreement

  • PRIDE pays travel expenses for one registrant per client, including mileage or economy airfare, transportation to and from the location where needed, lodging, and most meals, and will provide most meals for additional registrants. Air travel must be booked at least thirty days prior to the start of the Academy to receive reimbursement.

Specifics and Travel

  • The Academy will begin with a reception and dinner on Monday, June 1st which allows for travel that day. We will conclude sessions on Wednesday, June 3rd in the evening to allow for departures on Friday morning.

  • For those traveling by air, we ask you to arrive at the Salt Lake City Airport (SLC) between Noon and 4:00 PM on Monday, June 1st and we will provide transportation from the airport. Air departures any time on Thursday, June 4th will allow us to transport you back to the airport for your flight.

  • Lodging accommodations for registrants will be at the evo Hotel Salt Lake City.

 
 

Building Strategies for Every Level of Giving

January 26-29, 2027
Daytona Beach, FL

Session Objective

Successful fundraising requires confidence, strategy, and the ability to guide donors through multiple pathways of giving, from annual support to transformational planned gifts. This interactive Academy will provide practical strategies and discussion focused on moving beyond event-driven fundraising, building strong giving clubs, enhancing donor recognition and pipeline management, and strengthening fundraising skills through live ask practice.

  • Registration is limited to 10 registrants, maximum of two per client

  • This session is offered as two days of service as outlined in your client Agreement

Mastering the Donor Lifecycle from the First Gift to a Loyal Lifelong Supporter

Session Objective

Strong fundraising programs are built by intentionally guiding donors through every stage of engagement — from discovery and cultivation to stewardship and long-term advocacy. This Academy will equip fundraising professionals with practical strategies to strengthen donor relationships, deepen engagement, increase retention, and create meaningful donor experiences that drive sustainable philanthropic growth while building loyal supporters.
